Stolen cars can be tracked with mobile phones

We have heard of many cases of cars being installed with tracking devices but many of them are rarely recovered. Some clients have even gone to the extent of tearing their cars apart to see whether their cars had the tracking devices but some found that they did not have them. But now you can track your car with your cell phone.

There is new software that has been launched that is able to track to your mobile phone. I know that there are car tracking devices but here am talking about mobile phone tracking system. With this system you will see the software being installed on your cell phone and there is no need of having doubts. What one has to do is to install this tracking software onto his phone. For the software to be activated, you will have to purchase an activation code. Once activated, one of the details that you will have to give in is the preferred number of someone you trust or you meet constantly. So how this technology works is that when you lose your phone or it gets stolen, as soon as someone replaces your sim card from it, a text message is sent immediately to the cell phone number you had registered with. The text has the sim card details of the person using your phone.

When most people are car jacked, the car jackers usually ask for their cell phones. They remove the sim cards and replace them with others. As soon as that happens, a text message is sent to the preferred number that you had registered with. When this person sees this ‘distress call’ coming at some weird time at night he will be able to contact the police that your phone has been stolen or there is some form of danger. With the help of the police and mobile phone service providers you can be able to get the person.
