What you can do after losing your mobile phone

Mobile phone theft and loss are one of the major hindrances to communication using cell phones. Many people treasure their cell phones. When they lose them, most people feel really bad. They would like to get their hands on the culprit who take their cell phone and tear them apart. This is mainly because the phones had some of the most important information. These include things like wonderful photographs, megabytes of mp3 music and important contacts and text messages.

But on this unfortunate day, you happened to fall into the hands of mean looking people who wanted anything valuable you owe. This meant you had to surrender you precious phone. So what do you do after losing your cell phone?

One thing you can do is to report the case to the police. Well, we all know how the officers at the station behave. They will take a very long time to give you the forms and some may even ask for a bribe so that they ‘fasten’ the process. But check this out: if a murder case can take about four months to investigate and probably it may never be solved, wouldn’t your phone investigation take much longer? In those four months you could probably have bought a new phone! So reporting (to me) is not the best way.

But I have something that may interest you. It is the mobile tracking software that can be installed on your cell phone. This software can help you track the person with your phone. What happens is that when you lose your phone, with the tracking software installed in it. Anyone who replaces your sim card from your cell phone triggers a text message to be sent to second number that you had provided during the installation process. Also an email is sent to your e-mail address. The text message has details of the sim card of the person with your cell phone.
