What would you do if your phone was stolen?

Is very important to follow the right procedures in case you happened to loose your phone.
Reporting to the authority would be one of the first steps to inform them that you have been robbed or you have lost a cell phone. This is advisable so as to clear any form of charge that would emerge as a result of calls made through you number.
Reporting to the network provider would be the second step. You can make a direct call to the emergency desk informing them to block your number to avoid misuse of your account or line. This would prevent the person with your phone from making any phone calls that would in future cost you more bad than good.
As most of your contact numbers would have been stolen together with the phone, you probably would like to inform some of your closest of kin or business associate that you may be unavailable as your number would be blocked. You can change the sim card identity but retain the same number so that you can still receive calls from your former contacts. The old sim number would be dysfunctional so you don’t have to worry that your call may be picked by any irreverent person.
This service can only be provided by you network service provider.
As not guarantee can be issued that your cell phone will always be safe, never panic in case you happen to misplace your calling device. It would also be advisable to recheck several time in case your phone may just be somewhere within the office.
