What if my phone is switched off, Will it still be tracked?

Tracking cell phone can either be through installing a tracking code in your phone enabling the system to navigate to the location where your phone is by means of satellite technology. This is meant for GPRS enhanced phones.
The general packet radio satellite communication is the means by which your cell phone will transmit signals providing information such as the number of the sim card mounted in the cell phone. You can also place a GPS chip in your phone which will send a signal to the computer indicating the location on the map where it is currently held. If your phone is not GPRS enhanced then you can go for the chip.
The chip is small in size and can be placed within your phone or behind the cell battery. This chip indicates the location where the user is calling from, this is possible by having its software installed on a PC. Note that when you loss your phone and report to the tracking service company then will your chip be traced. 24 hour surveillance is not necessary as this may seem to be as keeping a trail wherever you go.
To ensure that your phone is tracked before it’s to late, report immediately to the authority, your phone service provider and your tracking service company. Delaying may lead to the thieves mishandling the cell phone which may affect the tracking system.
Although these are rare cases, the chip and the GPRS are far to uneasy to physical alter in a short period of time, it is always good to be one step ahead of your enemies.
