How to find a lost mobile phone

Many people have come to believe that once they lose their cell phones then they are gone for good. The people who have enough money can be able to have their cell phones insured and thus can be compensated. There others who have very important information on those phones that they hire investigators and all manner of people including the police to track where their mobile phones are. The amount of money spent in this will be great and they are willing to part with large sums. But what about that common man who wants their mobile phone that has their wonderful photos, text messages and mp3 music? He can’t be able to afford all that! The only other option he has is to block his sim card.

Despite all this, there is good news for all!! New mobile tracking software has been developed to track where your cell phone is and who has it. The system integrates the use of programming and GSM systems to locate your phone. Here is how it works:

One should download the software to their phones. You can either download it directly if your phone is WAP enabled, or you can download from the computer and have it installed on the phone. Once on the phone there are some details you have to fill in. One of the important details you have to input is the cell phone number of someone you are in regular contact is (reason is explained later). And that’s basically it!

So, if you lose your phone, get pick pocketed or mugged at some point a sim card will have to be input into your phone. As soon as the new sim card is placed, a text message is sent to the number of the person you had provided earlier. The text details the number of the person who has your phone. You can then do the necessary (hoping it’s all legal). Be wise as you track this person.
